How do I reorder pages in a PDF?+
Upload your PDF to see thumbnails of every page. Drag any thumbnail to a new position to reorder. You can also duplicate, delete, or reverse the entire document. Click Download to export your reordered PDF.
Is my PDF uploaded to any server?+
No. All reordering happens locally in your browser. Your PDF file is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
Can I duplicate a page without copying the whole PDF?+
Yes. Each thumbnail has a duplicate button that inserts a copy of that page right after the original. You can then drag the duplicate to any position.
Does reordering affect document quality?+
No. The pages are preserved byte-for-byte in the output PDF — only their order changes. Text, images, and formatting remain identical to the source.
What happens to bookmarks and links after reordering?+
Bookmarks are not carried over: in our test a file with four bookmarks came out with none, so add them again in a PDF editor if you need them. Links to websites stay on their pages; links that jump to another page of the same document can break, because the pages they pointed to have moved.
Can I reorder pages by drag-and-drop?+
Yes. Page thumbnails sit in a grid; drag one to a new position and the order updates at once, and the exported PDF keeps that order. Pages move one at a time; there is no multi-select.
Does reordering re-encode the PDF content?+
No. The reorder operation rewrites only the page-tree structure of the PDF; the actual page content streams are copied byte-for-byte to the output. This means image and text quality is unchanged, the output file size is essentially identical to the input, and the operation completes in seconds even on large PDFs.
Can I split one PDF into multiple separate PDFs based on the new order?+
Yes. The split mode lets you mark which pages should be grouped into the same output file. Group A might be pages 1, 3, 5; group B might be pages 2, 4, 6. The result is a ZIP containing one PDF per group, each with pages in the order you specified within that group. This is useful for separating a scanned batch into per-document outputs.
